Our water-washed/refined kaolin is processed from chemical weathering kaolin ores originated from pegmatite rocks. The process of producing water-washed kaolin consists of ore selection, attrition scruffing, washing and separating (mica, quartz, other impurities) or removal of impurities, magnetic separation, filter pressing, drying and packing. Our washed kaolin KVN-1 (K85C) owns basic properties such as: 1) It has low proportion of Fe2O3, TiO2 and high proportion of Al2O3 with fired whiteness is satisfactory; 2) It has good sinterability, low deformation and acceptable particle size below 2 µm. These properties of our washed kaolin will increase the productivity yield, and reduce production cost because of high casting rate, little shrinkage.
